MISSION
The mission of the CSRA Alliance is to enhance the overall economic value of both Fort Gordon and the Augusta community such that the CSRA will realize the community growth potential of a progressive relationship between Ft Gordon and the CSRA.

GOALS

  • Serve as the CSRA’s central coordination and resource center for all community-related Ft Gordon initiatives.
  • Fully integrate Fort Gordon and the CSRA Community.
  • Provide for long-term viability of the CSRA Alliance and Fort Gordon.

GOAL 1 - Serve as the CSRA’s central coordination and resource center for all community-related Ft Gordon initiatives.

Objective 1a: Serve as the central clearing house and resource center to ensure local, state, and federal agencies and organizations are working Ft Gordon initiatives in concert
Objective 1b: Serve as the primary CSRA advocacy group for Ft Gordon and the focal point for coordinating issues of broad significance
Objective 1c: Lead development and implementation of a CSRA Long Range Military Support Plan mutually agreed upon by Ft Gordon officials, the CSRA Alliance, the Augusta Metro/ Columbia County/N. Augusta Chambers of Commerce, area Military and Government Affairs Committees, and related government agencies

GOAL 2 - Fully integrate Fort Gordon and the CSRA Community.

Objective 2a: Ensure capability to operate a variety of missions at Ft Gordon free of any operational restrictions (e.g., encroachment, environmental, transportation, etc.)
Objective 2b: Seek military mission growth and related economic development opportunities.
Objective 2c: Ensure community resources to support current and new missions (e.g., ready workforce pool, public-private ventures, etc)
Objective 2d: Improve quality of life for assigned personnel (e.g., education, health care, affordable/suitable housing, child care, spousal employment, etc)
Objective 2e: Ensure capacity to grow (on and off the installation)

GOAL 3 - Provide for long-term viability of the CSRA Alliance and Fort Gordon.

Objective 3a: Establish Board of Directors, Board Executive Committee, Advisory Board and separate committees as required to execute the annual plan
Objective 3b: Maintain a full time Executive Director who will execute day-to-day activities of the Alliance
Objective 3c: Maintain fiscal responsibility
