Outgoing commandant, Brig. Gen. Robert L. Edmonson hands off the U.S. Army Signal School colors to Maj. Gen. John B. Morrison Jr., U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence commanding general, during a ceremony held Monday at Alexander Hall. The 39th Chief of Signal Brig. Gen. Christopher Eubank,  assumed responsibility as the commandant of the U.S. Army Signal School for the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence.

 

The 39th Chief of Signal Brig. Gen. Christopher Eubank assumed responsibility as the commandant of the U.S. Army Signal School for the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence during a ceremony held Monday at Alexander Hall.

 

Since Congress first authorized the addition of the signal officer in 1860, the Signal Corps has been at the cutting edge of communications, networks, and information systems. Over the course of its existence, the Signal Corps has continuously evolved and advanced technologies to enable our Army to fight and win our nation’s wars.

 

“We have always had a global impact and dominate battlefields because we command, control, and synchronize larger formations which enable America to win, said Brig. Gen. Robert L. Edmonson II, the 38th chief of signal and outgoing commandant of the Signal School. “Today the Signal Corps continues to be the vanguard of emerging technologies addressing 21st century IT and network challenges in support of Army operations.wars.
